Why Hypnosis?

Experts around the world are proving the effectiveness of hypnosis to stimulate fertility.  The hypnotic effects of visualisation, coupled with relaxation can be a powerful technique for communicating with the emotional centre of the brain, the limbic system, which regulates hormonal activity and balance.

Teach the mind

Nothing teaches the mind to relax more quickly and easily than hypnosis.  Hypnosis is a natural state of being that we go in and out of many times per day - perhaps when daydreaming, or engrossed in a really good book or movie, or when driving along in the car.  Interestingly when driving we find our minds drifting, quite safely, and remain completely in control of the vehicle – if there was a need to suddenly stop, the mind would snap out of the trance and into action.  How many times have you driven along a familiar road and suddenly realised that you weren't aware of the last few junctions?  You drifted off whilst still in control - this is exactly the same as being hypnotised.  Hypnosis can take you into a dreamy, restful state of mind, relaxed and yet aware, a comfortable state of mind that you could come out of at any moment should you wish to.

Relax the body

The mind controls the body and so to get the body to relax it is first important to train the mind how to do it – most people don't know how to relax.  Relaxation is worth learning as once you know how to do it you will benefit from it in so many ways.  Relaxing does not mean ‘vegging out’ in front of the TV doing nothing, relaxation means ‘stilling the mind’, calming down the endless thoughts – the ‘monkey chatter’, and once calm and relaxed a new creative part of the mind, a healthier mind switches on and supports you to achieve your goals.

Improve health and wellbeing

Thoughts and feelings affect the physiology of the body.  Each negative thought you have influences the hormonal system and as most peoples minds, particularly women, get stuck in patterns of negative thinking it is no wonder that so many struggle with hormone related issues.  Changing the thought patterns and clearing away stress directly influences reproductive health.
A recent Israeli study showed that the success rate of IVF treatments doubled in his test group from 14% to 28%, when the subjects underwent hypnosis during implantation. Professor Eliahu Levitas conducted this study with 185 women.
